DOJ Task Force Uncovers Widespread Anti-Christian Bias Under Biden Administration

A newly formed Department of Justice task force has released its initial findings, alleging “numerous instances” of anti-Christian bias across federal agencies during the Biden administration.

The task force, established with a mandate to identify and correct unlawful conduct or policies targeting Christians, submitted its preliminary assessment this week. The report, obtained by Fox News Digital, outlines how religious liberty was undermined and vows that such discrimination will not be repeated.

“The federal government will never again be permitted to turn its power against people of faith,” the report declared. “Faith is not a liability in America—it is a liberty.”

Federal Agencies Under Scrutiny

According to the task force, several agencies mishandled religious rights during the Biden years. The Department of Defense, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Department of Labor allegedly denied or disregarded religious exemption requests tied to COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

The Department of Education was accused of imposing unprecedented fines on major Christian universities, including $14 million on Liberty University and $37.7 million on Grand Canyon University.

At the Department of Homeland Security, officials reportedly ignored Christian perspectives in detainee directives while explicitly accommodating Islam, Rastafarianism, and Judaism.

The Justice Department itself came under sharp criticism. The task force said prosecutors failed to pursue cases involving anti-Christian bias but instead targeted Christians under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, arresting and convicting more than two dozen individuals for praying or protesting outside abortion clinics. At the same time, the DOJ allegedly declined to apply the law to protect churches and pro-life centers from attacks.

The FBI was singled out for its memo labeling certain “radical-traditionalist” Catholics as domestic terrorism threats.

Financial, Diplomatic, and Workplace Discrimination

The Treasury Department faced accusations of “debanking” Christian groups. Meanwhile, the State Department was cited for giving less humanitarian support to Christians abroad and showing muted responses to attacks on Christian communities. The report also claimed the agency favored non-Christian employees in hiring practices and leave approvals while pushing “radical LGBTQ gender ideology” policies that clashed with the beliefs of Christian staff.

Other examples of bias included the Department of Housing and Urban Development, which allegedly removed social media posts celebrating Easter and Good Friday while leaving up posts for Ramadan, Diwali, and Pride Month.

The Department of Labor was said to have dismantled its faith-based initiatives office, replacing it with a diversity, equity, and inclusion unit.

Broader Commitments

White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers accused the Biden administration of weaponizing government power against Christians, contrasting it with former President Trump’s stated commitment to religious freedom.

Trump recently reinforced that stance by signing an executive order creating the White House Faith Office, designed to give faith-based groups and houses of worship a stronger role in shaping domestic policy.

The task force, which held its first meeting in April, emphasized that this report is only the beginning. A final, comprehensive assessment of anti-Christian bias during Biden’s presidency is expected by February 2026.
