Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is renewing her calls for sweeping changes to U.S. domestic policy, targeting both property taxes and the healthcare system in a fiery post on X.
Greene argued that property taxes amount to “rent” paid to the government, even on land or homes Americans already own.
“We need to completely abolish property taxes. It forces us to pay ‘rent’ to the government on property that we own, but if we don’t pay property taxes, the property that we own gets taken away from us. That should never happen in a free country,” she wrote.
The Georgia congresswoman also blasted the current healthcare system, labeling health insurance a “giant scam” that most Americans cannot afford.
“Health insurance is a giant scam that has become completely unaffordable. And it doesn’t make any sense and I don’t know anyone, and I mean anyone, that supports the current healthcare system in the United States,” she added.
Greene, who often promotes her “America ONLY” ideology, said both issues demand urgent attention, comparing them to responding to a house fire.
The congresswoman has also been vocal about her opposition to foreign aid, calling continued overseas spending “America LAST insanity.” Earlier this month, she criticized colleagues who, in her words, vote for foreign funding “like lab rats that are trained to receive treats.”
Her remarks come just weeks after she ruled out running for Georgia governor in 2026, signaling her focus remains on federal-level battles.
By combining a call to dismantle property taxes with her denunciation of the healthcare industry, Greene continues to sharpen her populist message — one centered on putting American households ahead of foreign policy priorities.
